dc.description.abstract As part of the Temaiku milkfish project evaluation, the local market for fish and animal protein was investigated. The rationale for examining this market was that the production of milkfish may have to compete directly against these products in local markets. This short examination was due to provide some basis for setting prices, and for comparing the marketability of farm-raised fish with alternative animal protein supplies.
