Description

As we begin a new year, I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself as the new permanent Director of the CDS, beginning January 2, 2026. First, though, I want to thank Dr. Kiriko Takahashi for her incredible leadership of the CDS over the past years, and for her generosity of spirit as I transition into this new role. I’m arriving from California where I spent the past 12 years at the UC Davis MIND Institute. There, I directed a clinical research program focused on detecting the earliest markers of autism and ADHD. The driving goal of this work centered on improving early identification and supports for young children and their families.
